May 24, 2012 - LongTech announces today the release of a new standard performance LED explosion proof light designed for use in many regular and safety-related general illumination applications.
The new LongTech standard performance explosion proof light provides enough light to replace typical incandescent, metal halide (MH), or high pressure sodium (HPS) bulb fixtures while consuming a fraction of the power.
The use of a 30 Watt single high power LED array maximizes all of the light output from one spot to where it needs to go without creating multiple shadows. With a sealed housing built according to GB3836-2000 Electric Accessory Application in Explosive Gas Atmosphere standard specifications, an independently sealed robust UL listed driver, and different color temperatures available, this light is ideal for safety lighting use in petroleum and chemical environments and many other applications.
